Deepa Ambekar appointed interim civil court judge in New York City

Indian-American Deepa Ambeka will be second Indian-American woman judge in New York City after Chennai-born Raja Rajeswari. Ambekar is appointed to the Civil Court though she will be serving in the Criminal Court announced by the Mayor of New York City .41 year old Ambekar worked for three years with the New York City Council.
