New Delhi – WhatsApp is working on a new feature, WhatsApp Expiring Media, which would delete all the media files such as videos, images, GIFs once the recipients view them. When a recipient views the sent media and leaves the chat, the media files would automatically delete from the chat.
Users of WhatsApp who will receive any “Expiring Media” can only view them for a one time and once they exit the chat, they will disappear without any trace unlike the “This message was deleted” message when the sender deletes messages.
This new feature is said to be in development for the Android devices. However, in later stages, the feature would eventually b provided for the iPhone users too.
