New Delhi – Vinay Mohan Kwatra (IFS1988), presently Ambassador, Embassy of India, Paris, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Nepal.He is expected to take up the assignment shortly.He is Ambassador of India to France since August 2017. He has previously served at Ministry of External Affairs, India and Prime Minister’s Office as Joint Secretary and at senior position at Embassy of India in Washington D.C. from May 2010 to July 2013 and at different positions in many of Indias missions abroad and in India. Vinay speaks French, Hindi and English. He is married to Mrs. Pooja and has two sons.He has been named as Indian ambassador to Nepal.
