Jakarta -The proposed flight, on September 25, is on schedule.The Embassy would facilitate the process of flight clearance once all the particulars are finalized.
The Indonesia Tamil Sangam is also in the process of gathering information from stranded Indians and interested persons to assess the viability
of arranging a chartered flight for the sectors Jakarta-Chennai-Mumbai-Jakarta tentatively on October15, 2020.
The flight will have two stops, first at Chennai and subsequently at Mumbai. It will then depart from Mumbai to Jakarta directly on the same day.
Interested persons are advised to visit the social media handles of Indonesia Tamil Sangam and India Club Jakarta for more details.The Embassy is not engaged with any other organisations or persons for any chartered flight at the moment.
Indian nationals and OCI card holders who need to visit India for emergency or pressing reasons are advised to follow Embassy website and Embassy social media handles for information regarding future repatriation flights to India from Indonesia.
People are advised to exercise due caution with regard to sharing their personal particulars with any agency that claims to be organising charter flights without having the No Objection Certificate from Government.
