PM of India Narendra Modi is expected to have private meetings with the Queen and British PM Theresa May during his visit to the UK for the Commonwealth heads of government meeting (CHOGM).Narendra.Indian




PM and 52 other heads of government are due to arrive for the meetings in London and Windsor which take place from the 16th April until the 20th April. This is when the UK will assume its chairmanship for the next two years.Narendra Modi is expected to arrive in the evening of the 17th April, following a trip to Stockholm to meet the Indian diaspora. According to sources, on 18th April, Modi is scheduled to meet Theresa May at 10 Downing Street.

It is widely expected that the UK and India will sign an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) during CHOGM, agreeing to facilitate the deportation of around 100,000 illegal Indian immigrants in the UK to India.ollowing his meeting with Theresa May, Narendra Modi will meet The Queen at approximately 4pm for a private meeting.
