E-Way Bill system comes into force from today

New Delhi : E-Way Bill system for Intra-State movement of goods in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh comes into force from 15th April.Ministry of finance, with the




roll-out of Intra-State movement of goods e-Way Bill system in these States, trade and industry will be further facilitated so far as the transport of goods is concerned. This will also help in paving the




way for a nation-wide single e-Way Bill system. Govt asked trade and industry and transporters located in these States to obtain registration and enrollment on e-Way Bill portal.This system for all inter-State movement of goods has already been rolled-out from 1st of this month. The Ministry said, more than sixty-three lakh e-Way Bills have been successfully generated till date.
