The consultation between India and New Zealand was held between Secretary East in the External Affairs Ministry Preeti Saran and Foreign Secretary of New Zealand Dr. Brook Barrington.Both two countries have witnessed a significant increase in bilateral interactions over the past few years and there is a growing convergence of strategic perspectives. India contributes second largest number of tourists to New Zealand. More than 30 thousand Indian students study in various academic institutions in New Zealand .
