At present there are more than 145 dogs housed in a shelter built on privately owned land in an area of 250 square yards. Street animals are also fed by the trust. An animal helpline is also available to attend to the complaints.
The trust also runs a successful Anti-Rabies Vaccine (ARV) campaign for street dogs in different areas of Agra. Apart from this, we are creating awareness about living with animals, adopting indigenous dogs. Along with this, there is also a system of sterilization. Within 8 years, more than 4000 dogs were sterilized by the trust and more than 100 dogs were adopted.
