Agra’s first hotel was established in 1955 after independence

Agra – The Govardhan Hotel is the first hotel in Taj City that was established after India’s independence in 1955. The hotel has grown along with the city. It can be called the historical hotel of Agra. The hotel is located close to the old Dilli Gate.The rooms and corridors are all much changed now but they still echo the sounds of the past in Goverdhan Hotel . The people of Agra consider the Govardhan Hotel as a major landmark. It was established by late Sh Surendra Sharma .
