New Delhi-Suspension of H1B visas by USA is likely to affect the movement of skilled professionals who avail of these non-immigrant visa program to work lawfully in the US said Ministry spokesperson Anurag Srivastava. The H-1B is a visa in the United States under the Immigration and Nationality Act that allows U.S. employers to temporarily employ foreign workers in specialty occupations.Mr Srivastava was replying to a query at a virtual press conference. Further Ministry spokesperson said, the US has always welcomed talent and expressed hope that professionals from India will continue to be welcomed in America in the future.
