Prayag – Tabassum Bano was the first female e-auto rickshaw driver of Prayag. At time of starting her e-auto rickshaw she said “I want to change people’s attitude towards women. There are different types of people in our society. Some people stare at me awkwardly while some praise and encourage me. I want to show that women are strong and can face challenges.”
Now there are many women driving e-auto rickshaw in Prayag.We are also contributing to the socioeconomic empowerment of women and promoting gender-equality by training them in a profession that is largely regarded as male-specific in India said many e-auto rickshaw woman drivers.
