Australia has made student visa rules more difficult from March 23. Now
Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) is one of the most important requirements for an Australian student visa. It is designed to ensure that students who come to Australia to study actually intend to return to their country after the completion of their studies. Between January and May 2023 alone, Australia admitted 47,759 Indian students. But now students wishing to go from India to Australia for studies will have to face some more difficulties. Earlier, Canada and UK have also recently implemented student visa ban. Indian students can now choose America and other European countries as options for higher education. The GTE will be an important means of cracking down on international students who want to come to Australia primarily for jobs.
