Lucknow – Uttar Pradesh Transport Department has launched a 24×7 WhatsApp chatbot for public convenience. Through which major transport-related services will be available to citizens 24 hours a day. Vehicle registration services, driving license details, challan status and more can be obtained through the chatbot. This initiative is part of the state’s effort for digital transformation.
The new service aims to ensure that citizens get transparent and timely assistance using a widely used platform. Transport Commissioner Brajesh Narayan Singh said that the chatbot eliminates the need for citizens to stand in long queues or visit RTO offices repeatedly for routine queries and tasks. Everything from checking challan details to renewal of driving license can be managed using smartphones from home.
