India’s low cost travel airlines IndiGo has started new direct flights from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport. These flights will connect nine major cities Kolkata, Bengaluru, Varanasi, Goa, Patna, Chennai, Mumbai, Indore and Ahmedabad. These new flights of IndiGo will provide travel options to millions of people of Ghaziabad, Noida, East and Central Delhi and parts of Western Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, Air India Express had started its operations here. But now IndiGo Airlines has become the second airline to mark its presence at Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad, NCR.

On the occasion of inauguration, the Civil Aviation Minister said that we are committed to increasing aviation infrastructure across the country so that citizens can get convenient service connecting the smallest cities of the country to growing cities and metros.
