New Delhi-After taking charge of the Ministry, Defence Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman has said, her priority will be the preparedness of the Armed forces.Mrs Sitharaman said it is important that the armed forces receive all attention in terms of best equipment to discharge their duties.Priority will also be given to indigenous defence production as part of the ‘Make in India’ initiative said Sitharaman.She also said, the long pending issues of the Armed forces will be resolved. Mrs Sitharaman took charge from Mr Arun Jaitley who was holding the additional charge of the Ministry since March this year.
