Bengaluru – Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar Releases NIRF India Rankings 2018 for Higher Education Institutions.The Indian Institute of Science (IISC) in Bengaluru was adjudged the overall best
institution in the country. Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has been adjudged the best engineering college and the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad the best management institution. Delhi University’s Miranda House was the best college and National Law School of India University Bengaluru the best law school in the country.
AIIMS New Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh and CMC Vellore were ranked as the top three medical colleges. In the university category, IISc stood first, followed by Jawaharlal Nehru University and Banaras Hindu University. National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mohali topped in pharmacy institutions and IIT Kharagpur topped in Architechture In this third edition of India Rankings, a total of 2809 institutions participated in 9 categories.
