Mobile Medical Units in Bhubaneswar has been flagged off by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. These mobile medicalunits will provide doorstep healthcare services in the villages of Odisha as part of Oil PSUs’ Corporate Social Responsibility.These 11 medical units will have a qualified doctor, nurse, laboratory technician, pharmacist, essential medicines and can also function as an ambulance.Besides, these MMUs are GPS enabled so that their movements can be tracked on a real time basis and will cover a range of upto 40 kilometres from the base location.
