Everything seems to be changing due to global warming in Namche Bazar, situated at an altitude of 3,555 meters on the way to Everest South Base Camp. At this time these mountains were white with snow – now only a few stripes are visible on them. Also last year there was unusually heavy snowfall in winter. The summers here are very hot now. The owner of a Nepalese eatery here said that life and business in Namche Bazar does not look the same since the outbreak of Kovid-19. Most of the businesses are facing heavy losses. The life here has been heavily affected by the changing climate, which is deeply worrying the local communities. Avalanches, landslides and terrible unseasonal rains have started occurring more and more continuously in the mountains.
