BJP declared film actress Kangana Ranaut as its LS candidate

BJP has named film actress Kangana Ranaut as a candidate in its fifth list for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. She will contest election from Mandi constituency of Himachal Pradesh. Last year, the Bollywood actress had expressed the possibility of entering electoral politics and said that if she got the blessings of Lord Krishna, she would consider contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Actress Kangana Ranaut later wrote in a tweet on I have declared my Lok Sabha candidate from (constituency), I abide by it.
