Mumbai-Austrian film-maker Stefan Bohun’s documentary ‘Brother Jakob, Are You Sleeping’ won the prestigious Golden Conch award for the best documentary in the International Competition category at the 15th Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF) for Documentary, Animation and Short Films, which ended today in Mumbai. Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony.‘Brother Jakob, Are You Sleeping’, is a story of four brothers on a journey into the past. It is a shared path of memories which starts in the Tyrolean Mountains after the fifth brother’s death and ends in a hotel room in Porto. The Golden Conch award carries a cash prize of Rs 1 million (10 lakhs)
