Air India is returning to Zurich Airport after a long gap. From June 16, Indian Airlines will again connect Swiss Airport with New Delhi.
AI flights will commence between Zurich and New Delhi from June 16, 2024. Air India will operate four weekly flights on modern 256-seat Boeing 787-8 aircraft.

Air India flights from Zurich will depart at 20:50 hrs and reach New Delhi airport at 08:05 hrs the next day, return flights will depart New Delhi at 14:05 hrs and land at Zurich at 19:15 hrs. This marks the return of Air India to Zurich after a hiatus since 1997.

Stephan Tudin, Chief Operating Officer of Zurich Airport, expressed his excitement to welcome the new Air India flights. He highlighted the importance of India as an important economic hub and growth market. With India being one of Switzerland’s top three trade partners in Asia and a major market for Swiss tourism, the new route will increase connectivity between the two countries.
