of his time. Abhay Kant Chaturvedi was one of the most loved voices of Indian sports for over three decades. The era of television started in his time.After being selected on pure merit, he became India’s first TV cricket commentator in Hindi and in a league of well-known names like Melvin DeMalo, Devraj Puri (father of Narottam Puri), Yogarao CD Gopinath, Suresh Saraiya and of course Jasdev Singh.
