Indian airline IndiGo is set to begin direct (non‑stop) flights from Mumbai and Delhi to Athens, Greece in January 2026. The new service will be operated using the airline’s latest Airbus A321XLR aircraft, offering Indian travellers faster and more convenient access to Mediterranean destinations.
This move by IndiGo is expected to boost both tourism and business travel. The airline has confirmed that the flights will commence in the final week of January, establishing a direct air link between India and Greece for the first time.
