Tanot is a small village located in the vast desert of Jaisalmer district. Tanot is just 20 km from the Pakistan border. In a straight line, this distance can be even less. This village is 115 km from the district headquarters. About 600 people live in about 80 houses in Tanot.
In the absence of physical meetings apart from the Indo-Pak border, their desire to meet is always there. Relatives separated by the border are not very far from each other but always dream of meeting each other and being with each other in happiness and sorrow. Despite living close by, people have not seen each other for years.
