Big shock for BJP in MP, Congress won by-election of Chitrakoot

Congress candidate Nilanshu Chaturvedi won the by-election of Chitrakoot assembly.He won over the BJP candidate Shankar Dayal Tripathi with 14 thousand 333 votes.This Assembly seat was vacant after the demise of MLA Prem Singh. There were total 12 candidates in the by-election.Both parties BJP and Congress had shown full power in the election campaign. In the Beginning BJP was ahead with 527 votes, but after that the Congress candidate continued to grow steadily.

Govt called off the ‘Odd-Even’ car scheme in capital of India Delhi

Air Quality Improving in Delhi, People Need not Panic : Dr. Harsh Vardhan

New Delhi-Emphasising that air quality has been improving over the last two days, Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that the people of Delhi need not panic, as several steps are being taken by the Government to mitigate air pollution. GST council took key decisions to reduce tax rates

The 23rd meeting of GST Council in Guwahati has decided on a comprehensive overhaul of GST. Several items that were under the 28% tax slab have been brought into lower tax slabs.Tax on restaurants has undergone a major change. Now all restaurants AC, non AC and irrespective of turnover will be taxed at 5% and they will not be eligible for Input Tax Credit.Traders and consumers in Mumbai have welcomed the announcement that will make eating out cheaper.

NITI Aayog releases proposal for a quick pilot on EV charging infrastructure in Delhi

NITI Aayog Vice Chairman, Dr. Rajiv Kumar released a proposal to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Delhi. The proposal for the quick pilot could be used to provide a structure for EV infrastructure rollout in the Gurgaon-IGI-South Delhi-Noida corridor.This proposal for developing the pilot includes 55 locations with 135 charging stations of which 46 are DC quick charging stations and 89 are slower AC charging stations. This deployment would require co-operation with state governments, selected government authorities and companies
