Indian Railways to Launch 100 New Suburban Rail Services In Mumbai area

Mumbai-With these additional services, the total suburban local train services in Mumbai of Western Railway and Central Railway put together will increase from existing 2983 services to 3083 suburban services.Introduction of these new suburban services will benefit 77 lakh commuters travelling daily over Mumbai suburban network by reducing congestion and providing faster commute. State Bank of India lowers MAB to Rs 3,000 from 5,000 rupees

Mumbai – State Bank of India lowers MAB, requirement in a savings account to 3,000 rupees from 5,000 rupees and also revised downwards penalties for non-adherence.Revised MAB requirement and charges will become applicable from next month.SBI has decided to treat the metro and urban centres in the same category and the requirement of MAB in metro centres stands reduced to 3,000 from 5000 rupees. It will remain Rs 1,000 for rural branches.

Mumbai- Sensex at BSE lost considerably more ground, and had plunged 434 points, or 1.4 percent, to 31,489, a short while ago.The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange had slumped 138 points, to 9,826. Controversial sect head Gurmeet Singh challenges CBI court order in HC

Chandigarh : Counsel of controversial sect head Jailed Dera Sacha Sauda Gurmeet Singh moved to the Punjab and Haryana High Court , challenging a special CBI court’s verdict sentencing him to 20 years in prison for raping two disciples.They have challenged the verdict on several grounds. IT raids were operated on premises and offices of VG Siddhartha owner of Cafe Coffee Day retail chain and found Rs 650 crore concealed income from the documents seized on Sunday.CCD’s founder owner V.G. 21,000 children were rescued in last three years from railway stations
