Sensex declines 118 points at Bombay Stock Exchange

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange lost ground, and had declined 118 points, or 0.4 percent, to 31,406 a short while ago. The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange had dropped 31 points, to 9,806.But at the forex market, the rupee had appreciated 10 paise, to 64.05 against the dollar in afternoon deals.
