Indian citizen will not travel 50 kms to make passport : Swaraj



Govt is planning to set up a comprehensive network of Passport Seva Kendras across the nation. said External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.Further she said that Passport services will be also available on all major post offices in the country.Announcing the opening of 149 new Post Office Passport Seva Kendras, Swaraj said these will be set up in the second phase.In the first phase 86 such kendras were to be set up, 52 of which are now functional.
