New corridor between Delhi and Dehradun will cut travel time to just 2.5 hours



Delhi-Saharanpur-Dehradun Economic corridor, work on which is underway, will reduce the distance between the two cities from 235 kilometres to 210 kilometres, and travel time from 6.5 hours as of now, to just 2.5 hours, once it is completed. India’s covid recovery rate is amongst the highest in the world



New Delhi – India’s daily new cases continue to manifest a downward trend. 9,110 new cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. Low number of daily cases and rising recoveries have ensured a sustained fall in the Active Cases. India’s total Active Caseload has also dropped to 1.43 lakh (1,43,625) today. Over 56 lakh Healthcare and Frontline Workers vaccinated across the country



New Delhi – The total number of beneficiaries vaccinated against COVID19 across the country has crossed 56 lakhs. 56,36,868 healthcare and frontline workers were vaccinated through 1,14,548 sessions (till 6 pm) as part of the countrywide COVID-19 vaccination program on Day 22, as per the provisional report till 6 pm today. Vaccination sessions were organized in 35 States/UTs.
