Union minister of Civil Aviation and Commerce and Industry Suresh Prabhu said proposed Mopa airport site in North Goa will be an icon of growth and a model for development for the country. Mr Prabhu visited
the proposed Mopa airport site today in Goa.He informed to the press that Goa state will hosting 30 million tourists annually by 2025 and it will create thousands of jobs across segments in aviation and logistics sectors, besides tourism.Minister said all new jobs related to the airport project will be available for only locals.
