Delhi Govt approves proposal for signal-free roads PDF Print E-mail

The  Government of delhi  has approved proposals worth 475 crore rupees for making roads signal free in the city. This includes making Karkardooma intersection and Akshardham crossing in East Delhi signal-free. Delhi Finance Minister A K Walia told reporters in New Delhi that the proposals were cleared by the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) of city government.

The Delhi government has approved proposals worth 475 crore rupees for making roads signal free in the city. This includes making Karkardooma intersection and Akshardham crossing in East Delhi signal-free. Delhi Finance Minister A K Walia told reporters in New Delhi that the proposals were cleared by the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) of city government. An amount of over 86 crore rupees has been sanctioned for construction of clover leaves and widening of existing bridge on trunk drain no. 1 at Karkardooma.(air)
