The Government of delhi has approved proposals worth 475 crore rupees for making roads signal free in the city. This includes making Karkardooma intersection and Akshardham crossing in East Delhi signal-free. Delhi Finance Minister A K Walia told reporters in New Delhi that the proposals were cleared by the Expenditure Finance Committee (EFC) of city government. The Delhi government has approved proposals worth 475 crore rupees for making roads signal free in the city.
