'My Name Is Khan' to premiere in Abu Dhabi PDF Print E-mail

    Shah Rukh Khan's film 'My Name Is Khan' will see its world premiere in Abu Dhabi next week. The film, which marks the return of the famous onscreen pair Shah Rukh and Kajol after a gap of eight years,is a love-story in the backdrop of post 9/11 America. 

ImageDirected by Karan Johar and co-produced by Khan, the film will premiere in Abu Dhabi on 10th February followed by an European premiere in Berlin two days later.

Air India to get an allocation of Rs 1,200 crore PDF Print E-mail
ImageAir India likely to get an allocation of Rs 1,200 crore in the forthcoming Budget, Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel said. 

"We expect a Rs 1,200-crore provision for Air India in the budget," Patel told  on the sidelines of a function in Aamby Valley. Patel said he expected the process of equity infusion of Rs 800 crore into the airline by the government to be completed

Pranab urges banks to reach out to interior villages PDF Print E-mail
ImageMinister of Finance of India  urged the banks, both nationalised and private, to reach out to uncovered villages through modern technology.

Mukerjee, who inaugurated State bank of India's (SBI) customer service point (CSP) at Barole village here in Murshidabad district of West Bengal said only 88,000 villages out of 6.5 lakh were covered by banks.

Compulsory registration for all medical clinics, labs under new bill PDF Print E-mail

All public and private medical clinics as well as laboratories will have to go for compulsory registration and come under a single regulatory framework with the govt giving its go-ahead to a bill in this regard. The Clinical Establishment Bill which was cleared by the Union Cabinet in New Delhi envisages all hospitals and labs as well as clinics run by individual doctors to be registered.
