PM has approved the decision to infuse capital funds in the public sector banks, PSBs in the current and next fiscal to meet the credit requirements of the economy.
The Cabinet at its meeting chaired by the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has approved the decision to provide capital funds to the tune of 15 thousand crore rupees for the current year.

Praful Patel,Civil Aviation Minister has denied any links with the IPL and welcomed the probe ordered into it by the government. He also charged a section of the ruling party with launching a slanderous campaign about his involvement in the matter.
Mr Patel, however said, congress party per se is not involved in the controversy. His statement came in the backdrop of reports that two Union Ministers were involved in the IPL, which is under cloud following allegations of betting and money laundering.

Finance Minister informed the Lok Sabha that the investigation into the sources and routes of funding for the IPL had already begun and no guilty will be spared.
Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee made a statement in the House assuring members that appropriate action as per law will be taken if any wrong doing was found in the manner the IPL was funded.

Infosys Technologies has reported a marginal rise of 0.25 percent in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,617 crore for the fourth quarter ended 31st March 2010. The company had a net profit of Rs 1,613 crore in the March quarter of the previous fiscal (2008-09), Infosys said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange . |
