ImageAccording to Forbes magazine, Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim is the richest person in the world with 53.5 billion dollars assets, while Indian industrialist Mukesh Ambani ranks fourth with 29 billion dollars.

Slim is followed by Bill Gates with a net worth of 53 billion dollars and Warren Buffet at the third spot with assets worth 47 billion dollars.

NRI billionaire Lakshmi Mittal with a net worth of 28.7 billion ranks fifth.

Sonia confident about stability of Govt. PDF Print E-mail

Seven MPs of SP, RJD, LJP and an unattached MP suspended PDF Print E-mail
ImageSeven MPs were suspended on Tuesday for remaining part of the budget session for their unruly behaviour in the House on Monday over the Women's Reservation Bill.  The suspended members are Subhash Yadav (RJD), Sabir Ali (LJP), Veerpal Singh Yadav, Nand Kishore Yadav, Amir Alam Khan and Kamal Akhtar (all SP) and Ejaz Ali (Unattached). The motion for their suspension was moved by Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Prithviraj Chavan and was passed by a voice vote.
