ICICI Bank fixes minimum lending rate at 7.5 per cent

India's largest pvt Bank ICICI pegged its minimum lending rate at 7.5 per cent, the same as State Bank of India's rate. "ICICI Bank base rate (I-Base) is fixed at 7.5 per cent, effective 1st July," the lender said in a statement.

Group of Ministers divided over caste census

International Film Festival of India to have two-tier jury system

IFFI will have a restructured two-tier jury system from this year with at least four to five regional juries. Besides this, there would be an increase in the prize money of the awards and introduction of certain new sections like prizes for the Best Actor and Best Actress. The new system was proposed by a committee of professional filmmakers headed by eminent director Shyam Benegal and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Ministry has accepted the recommendations.
