Sonia Gandhi to be elected as the President of the Congress party for a record fourth time in a row. Except for 2000, Sonia Gandhi was elected unopposed twice earlier and she has been steering the party ever since 1998 after she replaced Sita Ram Kesri.
Pranab Mukherjee,FM of India has asked the insurance companies to create awareness among the poor and vulnerable section of the society especially the people living in rural areas so that they can avail the benefits of financial services. He further said that they may be informed about the benefits of the life insurance and insurance against natural calamities. Shri Mukherjee was addressing a large gathering of the representatives of the insurance companies in a function at Mumbai organized by Assocham on the occasion of Global Insurance
