Indore city is getting fame for cleanliness not only in India but also abroad. Startups from India and Canada will work together on new technologies for waste management. In which Indore’s startup ‘Swaha’ is also included, which works exclusively in solid waste management. The Government of Canada also wants to start this technology in Canadin cities. Meena Bhullar, Trade Commissioner of the High Commission of Canada had come to Indore a few days ago in connection with this program. ‘ Swaha’ was born in 2016 by Jwalant Shah and Rohit Agarwal, two y mechanical engineers from IIT. The aim of this startup was to convert waste into compost. Startup invented such a technique, in which instead of transporting the waste from one place to another, it could be disposed of there. The startup built a special mobile waste processing van. The company has also worked in IPL matches and has also disposed of the waste generated during the Amarnath Yatra this year.
