Patna-Ten public Universities and 10 private Universities will be made world class universities in the country announce PM Narendra Modi . He was addressing centenary celebrations of Patna University. Mr.Modi said selection of these universities will be on merit and there will no interference from anyone. He said there will be no Government control over these universities and autonomous status will be given to the universities. Mr. Modi said that ten thousand crores will be provided to these universities. He encouraged students of various universities to come forward for innovations to solve day to day problems.
